The Akron Childrens Beeghly campus houses a 25-bed pediatric inpatient unit; an emergency department; surgical, radiology, endocrinology, laboratory, rehabilitative (physical, occupational and speech), rheumatology, transport, behavioral health and gastroenterology services; an 18-bed special care nursery; and an EEG lab. The Beeghly campus also offers a pediatric diabetes and endocrinology clinic; the center for blood and cancer; an infusion center; child advocacy center; and support services such as the McFamily Respite Center where families can rest or freshen up in homelike comfort.
